Now the community will no longer have to wonder what the beautiful house at the end of North Chestnut Street is.
The Hospice of the Hills Board of Directors took on the challenge to identify the Hospice House with appropriate signage. Board member Arie Britt said, “We wanted a sign that was not too obtrusive and would generally compliment the Hospice house. Our thinking was that a low profile structure would be best so as to not block out the fountain or the house. We didn’t want anything that looked too much like a business sign, just something simply for identification.”
The Hospice House and in home hospice care are dedicated to insuring that the patients and loved ones experience peace, comfort, compassion, and dignity in their last days. Bereavement, grief support, spiritual counselors, tender touch and pet therapy are some of the many support activities provided for the patient and their families.
