Hospice of the Hills

2008 Twenty IS Plenty fundraising committee.

Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to the Hospice program. The volunteers perform a variety of duties and must complete a training program designed to prepare them for involvement with the Hospice patients and their families; visits, errands, babysitting, etc. Volunteers can also help with clerical duties at the Hospice office, as well as plan and participate in fundraising activies.

If you would like more information on volunteering for Hospice of the Hills contact Marge Doyle at 870-414-4100.

Donate

Hospice of the Hills is strictly a non-profit organization that relies on community support to offset those costs not covered by Medicare and private insurance. We seek to offer support and care for the patient and their loved ones. No patient is ever turned away because of the inability to pay for services.

Donations can also be used for:

Travel expenses for loved ones
Upkeep on the Hospice House
The Hospice House serenity garden
Medications
Other expenses that can alleviate the burden of an already difficult time

Donations to Hospice of the Hills can also be given for a specific purpose.

“Twenty IS Plenty”
Our largest fund raising campaign “Twenty IS Plenty” is designed to signify that with broad community support, a relatively small contribution by enough people can help provide this area with a first class facility and a much needed service. Hopefully, by the grace of God, you or your loved ones will never need to utilize the services of the Hospice House, but with your support, the facility will be there for those who do.

The Hospice House is 100% paid for and without debt, but we also have little reserves to handle the non insured patients who need this care as much if not more than those covered by Medicare and private insurance. Your donations regardless of how small will enable the Hospice of the Hills to continue to serve a vital role.
